TopLine FCU helps support local youth with bike donations
press release: TopLine Federal Credit Union 05/22/2014 – May is Minnesota Bike Month…help support local youth employment! Do you have a bike sitting idle in your garage or fated for the scrap yard; why not donate it to support local youth employment?
TopLine Como Park will be teaming up with Keystone Community Services and Youth Express on Saturday, May 31, 2014 to host a bike drive at TopLine’s Como Park branch location– 976 North Lexington Parkway, St. Paul from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Express Bike Shop accepts bike donations of all kinds and uses these donations to train young people on how to fix and refurbish bikes for resale. 100% of profits are reinvested back into the youth employment program. For more information visit www.exbike.com.
Youth Express is a youth development and entrepreneurial training program that teaches young people ages 14-19 real world job skills and provides employment opportunities where youth engage in employment activities as paid apprentices.
Drop off any youth or adult bike (in any condition, REALLY) at TopLine Como Park on Saturday, May 31 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., plus enjoy free refreshments and give-aways.
